A classic shape with a practical filling mechanism

Time and again, we were asked why Pelikan doesn’t offer its Classic piston fountain pens M200 and M205 with a cartridge mechanism – for those who travel a lot and for those who prefer the quick exchange of a cartridge to the more elaborate filling with a piston mechanism. At first, we hesitated. After all, Pelikan is the epitome for classical fountain pens with the famous piston mechanism. But when the demand came more and more often, we decided to act on it. Now, we readily admit that the simple beauty of the P200 took our breath away.

We are happy to offer two very popular versions made of high quality resin in black – either with gold or with silver applications. For more information on the gold model, check out the P200. The P is short for Patrone, the German word for cartridge.

The silver model P205 has a highly polished stainless steel nib that is available in six sizes: EF, F, M, B, BB, and factory Italic. To exchange the cartridge, the fountain pen can be screwed open right at the ring. This is also the part that has to be exchanged in case of a nib change.

As a perfect combination, combine this sleek fountain pen with the new Edelstein Ink Cartridges in their attractive metal boxes – they are first-class eye-catchers!

Also available is a 14k gold, fully rhodium-plated nib that’s available in sizes EF, F, M, and B.

Included with each pen at no additional charge is the optional Tune & Smooth service to have the nib adjusted to your exact preferences for flow and smoothness. For a more personalized writing experience you may choose a custom grind such as a stub, cursive italic, oblique, architect, or a needlepoint.
