Visconti is proud to introduce the new Caesar’s Firenze fountain pen commemorating the founding of Florence, Italy by the famous Roman ruler, Julius Caesar, in 59 BC.
Originally founded as a settlement for Caesar’s veteran soldiers, it was named Fluentia due to the fact it was built between two rivers. Many years later it was renamed as the city we know today as Florence.
Crafted from Visconti’s famed Titanic celluloid, a beautiful deep blue celluloid with brown variations, the Caesar’s Firenze comes in two distinct trims, rose gold and silver. The Caesar’s Firenze features an entirely new design from Visconti where the cap and body have a smooth, rounded surface that is interrupted by two facets along the length of the entire pen. The clip is Visconti’s classic Ponte Vecchio bridge clip accented with blue enamel in the logo and the cap has a threaded closure and features the My Pen System coin.
The Visconti Caesar’s Firenze is available only as a fountain pen and limited to 59 pieces in each trim color. The pen is presented in a special limited edition collectors gift box. The fountain pen features the patented Visconti Power Filler System and is further enhanced with Visconti’s large 18kt gold nib, available in EF, F, M, B and Stub. The Nibsmith proudly offers free nib setup and customization with your purchase.
