Aurora has made a stunning new update to the classic 88 with the all black 88 Unica Nera. The Aurora 88 Unica Nera features the same matte “satin” finish to the resin cap and barrel as first seen on the 88 Satin Black. Aurora has paired this matte satin finish with a matte black 14K gold nib, matte black clip, and polished black cap band.

The 14K solid gold nib perfectly matches the rest of the trim and comes in six sizes: EF, F, M, B, BB, and Factory Stub. Each Aurora nib is made in-house along with the ebonite feed which allows for consistent, moderate ink flow. Aurora’s nibs are well suited for adjustment and personalization, which is included at no additional cost.

The 88 features Aurora’s unique piston filler design with a built-in ink reserve. When the pen runs dry, extend the piston to access enough ink for several more pages of writing. The piston knob will remain extended acting as a reminder to refill the pen while still allowing the cap to be posted.
