Following my somewhat idiosyncratic desire to upgrade the Safari All Black LE 2018 with a gold nib, I ordered this one in EF. It arrived in perfect condition with a fairly wet flow as I ordered it.
Pros: A delicately crafted EF tip that rivals Japanese nibs, with a bit of an architect’s grind for a compelling writing experience.
Cons: The nib has a lot of feedback. In fact, it sounds and feels a bit like a pencil. I have another Z55 EF that came with my dialog3 which is much smoother. So, there may be individual differences between nibs.
Still, one of the best gold nibs out there, and worth the price.

I had Daniel customize a Lamy gold nib into cursive italic approx 1mm and it came back as perfect. Great feedback and exactly what I was looking for in a cursive nib. He worked on it right after his return from the SF pen show and also made sure I would get it in time before my business trip. Much appreciated his craftsmanship.
