The new Signature nib blends together characteristics of the Coarse and Factory Stub nibs. The Coarse nib having a very thick, round point creating a line of uniform thickness in all directions and the Factory Stub more accurately described an italic as it has a sharp, crisp edge that produces maximum line variation. The resulting Signature nib is a very wide stub, true to name, with subtle to moderate line variation, extreme smoothness, and generous ink flow.
