Express yourself. Make a statement with the bold, saturated colors of TACCIA’s latest collection—the TACCIA Spectrum Collection.
TACCIA went back to their two core beliefs when exploring ideas for their newest line. First, is that writing instruments should be an accessible luxury and fashion collectible for all. Their second core belief is to only use the most beautiful and highest quality elements.
Their soul searching led to the base concepts of the Spectrum Collection—a stunning form, with translucence to display the mechanisms within.
TACCIA then took the concept further by observing their design color wheels. The final concept sprung to life during observations of a prism, with light splitting into a beautiful celebration of color.
The TACCIA Spectrum fountain pen is available in, Mosaic Umber, Merlot Red, Ocean Blue, and Forest Green. Each Spectrum pen comes fitted with precision-designed Japanese TACCIA nibs made by the highly-regarded Sailor Pen Company in your choice of steel or 14K gold. The steel nib is available in sizes EF, F, M, B, and Music. The 14K gold nib is available in EF, MF, M, B, and MS.

The tortoise is a stunning pen; it’s a real beauty. And the Spectrum with the steel nib is a smooth writer and feels great in my hand. My job requires constant notetaking and this has become my workhorse pen. This is my second Spectrum and just like the first is a pleasure to use. I opted for Dan’s tune and smooth, and it was worth the wait to have this done.

My first Taccia… because of the regular price point of Taccia pens, I never really considered it until I noticed it in the clearance section. The semi-translucent barrel and cap have a classic tortoise shell appearance. It took me a week or so of daily writing to get comfortable with this new pen. I opted for a Fine nib, but didn’t realize that Daniel would give it a little tune up before sending it out, and it really does write very nicely!
Unlike a standard Japanese Fine nib that I have on a couple of Sailor pens, this nib is not scratchy and not too fine, it is just right!
