For years, Sailor King of Pens have been admired by many as one of the best in its class – in terms of writing comfort and nib performance. This is no easy feat for a fountain pen that is over ¾” (or 20mm) in diameter, and is fitted with a 21K nib; which is almost DOUBLE THE SIZE of a standard Sailor nib. However, Sailor’s excellent craftsmanship and experience have enabled them to majestically create a writing instrument with perfect balance of size, stability, and smoothness, which make this pen an absolute joy to write with.

Until now, the standard King of Pen series has only been available in very limited barrel color offerings: black, transparent, or with higher end urushi lacquer coatings. Now, it is available in Sailor’s popular Stormy Sea, Fresca Blue, and Royal Tangerine colors. All three colors come with Silver trim and are available in Medium and Broad 21K gold nibs with Rhodium plating.
