This collector's item is available in an elegant red marble resin with solid silver trim. The cap features an oval-shaped top with in-laid mosaic-type Aurora logo and a clip inscribed with 85°. A floral motif reminiscent of Aurora's first models adorns the band of the cap as well as a serial number that certifies the authenticity and uniqueness of each piece. These exquisite writing instruments are showcased in a splendid red and silver lacquered wood presentation package. In honor of the year Aurora was founded, 0nly 1919 fountain pens will be produced. The Aurora 85th Anniversary fountain pen features a rhodium plated 18KT gold nib available in wide variety of sizes. One feature that shouldn't be overlooked is Aurora's unique piston filling system which provides a small reserve of ink that's accessible by extending the piston mechanism, providing enough ink for several more pages of writing after the pen initially runs dry. An added benefit to this design is that the filling knob remains extended, acting as a reminder to refill the pen.
